Legendary Real Time Strategy Mushroom Wars for iPad Now a Multiplayer Experience

St. Petersburg, Russia, 28 March 2013. – i-Free Innovations, a leading Russian mobile game and app publisher, and Creat Studios, a successful developer of PlayStation console games, have announced the release of a multiplayer add-on to the iPad edition of the legendary strategy Mushroom Wars. From now on, users can play each other in real time.

The dynamic real time strategy, Mushroom Wars, shot to the TOP 5 games/apps on the US Apple App Store in just a week after its iPad version was released this past January. In Mushroom Wars, an unknown enemy makes mischief among forest creatures, and once friendly neighbors begin to combat each other. The player must lead one of the forest tribes, unite the neighbors and repel the enemy.

With the newest update to Mushroom Wars, iPad users can wage real time battles with other players – up to three adversaries at a time. So far, five new interface adaptors are available for multiplayer battles. The developers plan to release new network adaptors every two weeks. A total of 17 online multi-play cards will be released.

One interesting feature to the multiplayer update of Mushroom Wars is that real time battle cards are selected randomly, and the battle itself can be fought in three different modes. In one mode, victory is when you defeat all the enemies; in another, it is when you manage to keep control of the key strongholds. Players score points for their real time wins, and can compare their scores online with friends or with all players.

The new add-on to the iPad version of Mushroom Wars comes with the Mushroom Wars signature feature, much sought-after and awaited by users, which was the chief reason why the original Mushroom Wars was named one of the TOP 25 PlayStation®Network games of all times, according to IGN.
