i-Free Steps Up as Partner for Mobilefest

Mobilefest has received support from i-Free for several years, and 2013 will not be an exception. In addition, i-Free will run a lottery for Mobilefest participants this year, offering an i-Pad mini and free attendance at a few other major industry conventions as prizes.

St. Petersburg, Russia, 18 March 2013. i-Free has partnered up with Mobilefest’2013, the popular forum for mobile app developers and mobile internet professionals, which will take place at Yakhroma sports and amusement park near Moscow on 22 and 23 March.

Mobilefest is a festival and conference that traditionally draws the best, brightest and most successful professionals from the industry of mobile internet and software, as well as new, promising teams and startups. Mobilefest usually welcomes mobile app creators and marketers from Russia and the rest of the CIS – developers, designers, project managers, producers, publishers and marketing specialists.

Mobilefest has received support from i-Free for several years, and 2013 will not be an exception. In addition, i-Free will run a lottery for Mobilefest participants this year, offering an i-Pad mini and free attendance at a few other major industry conventions as prizes.

“Mobilefest is a forum that brings together industry leaders and recent startups in the market of mobile applications,” said Ekaterina Ivanova, who heads i-Free Events. “When market frontrunners and beginners communicate, share ideas and expertise, and debate projects together on an equal footing, this gives a new impetus to the mobile software industry. It is our pleasure to render support to this forum, which has been highly acclaimed by the professional community.”

As usual, Mobilefest will focus on the most relevant aspects of the mobile software industry: the latest market trends, outlook for the industry in Russia and the rest of the CIS, and the knowhow of creating and marketing mobile applications. The participants will personally meet the creators and publishers of some top-rated mobile apps.

The festival will include the announcement of the winners of the Hackaphone competition, featuring presentations of app prototypes for different mobile platforms. March 23 will be DemoDay, when the shortlisted teams will show their projects in action. There are some great prizes in store for the winners!

i-Free has its representatives on the Hackaphone jury: they will evaluate ideas and select the best projects for presentation on DemoDay.
