First Wood War, a Game Released by i-Free, Wins Chain Reaction Contest

St. Petersburg – Moscow, Russia, 8 August 2013. – Released by i-Free, a leading Russian mobile game and app publisher, the mobile game First Wood War won First Prize in the Chain Reaction competition. The competition, held at the Digital October technopark, was staged as a live TV show, which made it easier for the participants, analysts and viewers to appreciate the best projects of the mobile gaming industry.

The main purpose of Chain Reaction was to raise extra financing for projects geared towards rapid business expansion. All the competition entries were impartially evaluated by investors and analysts, and by the industry insiders present in the audience.

Among the experts on the competition jury were Aleksander Vashchenko, Founder and President of NARR, Bairam Annakov, CEO of Empatika, Dmitry Plushchevsky, CEO of DaSuppa and independent analyst at CIT PwC, and Igor Kliukin, Director of Analysis at Pixonic.

The entries were judged according to three metrics: functionality, monetization and marketing. First Wood War, a game published by i-Free, received the highest acclaim from the jury and the professional community alike, and won First Prize. 

Created by Motion Entertainment Studio, First Wood War is a real time strategy (RTS) mobile game with an online multiplayer option. The point of the game is Castle Defense. It comes with full-feature 3D graphics, supporting HD (Retina).
